Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. She has acted in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. Her current role is analyst responsible for the Assassination Witness project, and is a core member of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. The GI-TOC research focuses on assassinations in contexts of illegal economies. Her interests in research also include the influence of organized crime in relation to human rights, as well as laws and policies. Ana Paula holds an LL.M the cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. In addition, she has the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer has included four years of practicing in a law firm that specialises in the area of public law litigation. She also has held number of assistant positions with and non-government organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
