She is the sibling of Bridey Elliott, an actor/comedian, and Chris Elliott, the comedian. Elliott was born in New York City, the second child of the elder. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent coordinator and comedian Chris Elliott. Her grandfather was Bob Elliott, a radio comedian. Her younger sister is actress Bridey Elliott. They were both born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended Immaculate High School Danbury in Connecticut. There she was involved in school musicals and plays. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005 she was accepted into Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out in her first semester.
