
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress as well as a media personality and singer. She has been the judge on Britain's Got Talent since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire. She spent much of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She also was a participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. She co-starred along with Bill Nighy and Tom Courtenay in Ready When You Are, Mr. McGill, a comedy drama by Jack Rosenthal. Alongside Alesha Dixon David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
